One of eight billion people on earth.
I, like many others, am concerned that humanity seems to be moving towards something Irreversible and catastrophic.
Hand in hand we walk with open eyes towards our doom.

There is something deeply human about turning a blind eye to the current situation, an enabling way of dealing with everyday life.
But still, when the thought finds its way all the way in, when it cuts to the chest, an unpleasant feeling spreads.
What can we do, what can I do, and how can I as an individual be able to make a difference?

This is the background to my art project and the traveling exhibition ‘The 4 Elements’, to instil hope and power in our young people, who today feel depressed and hold a dark view of the future. I want to inspire and point out that a more positive future can exist if we draw strength from our collective knowledge, common humanity and responsibility.
